Giselle Borras is a Colombian born artist who has lived and worked in
Colombia, Spain and the U.S. Her work can be found in private collections across
the United States and Colombia. She studied painting, drawing and color theory
with several artists in Colombia and then continued her development in Madrid,
Spain at The Academia de Arte.
Giselle’s work shows her enjoyment in feeling nature and in the perfection of

interpretation of the plasticity of the human body.
Rachel Jones
Contemporary artist Rachel Jones presents a small body of intimate pieces
completed during her stay in the Texoma area while displaced from her New
Orleans studio by hurricane Katrina. The "Rivers, Paths, and Plans" series was
created in hotel rooms, cars, in a temporary studio, and on-the-go as Jones
awaited word from New Orleans.
Rachel Jones is originally from Antlers, Oklahoma and was an active participant
in the Denison Arts Community prior to her move. We welcome her back by showing
this intriguing body of small works.
