Barbara Larimore is an artist who works in an impressionistic style, and loves the effects of light.  She works in oils and pastels, working sometimes "en plein aire," and also from photos from her trips through many states and abroad.  She has been greatly inspired by the French and American Impressionists. Her work incases varied subjects including landscape, waterscape, floral, and figure in landscape.  Works have been accepted in many national shows, winning numerous awards, and had been featured in the Wichita Falls Times Record News.  She is represented by Fredericksburg Gallery, Monticello Gallery, Rain Bird Gallery, Upper Room Gallery, and her works may be found in private collections across the United States
