Artist's Information

North Dallas artist Elizabeth Padgett's unique technique of creating papers with watercolor, acrylic paint, liquid gold leaf, and varnish is an art in itself. However, after the papers are created, she tears each apart and collages them into kimono forms, abstracts, and art works with eastern inspiration. Padgett is well know in the Dallas/Ft. Worth event circle. Current selection from her Kimono series and 15x15 Abstract series are now on display at Artplace.
