Art Instruction
Artplace offers a wide variety of artistic instruction for both youth and
adults. We cater to beginners as well as advanced artists in our studio
classroom and Mixed Media Creative Learning Center. Students are the guests of our
resident artists and instructors as they venture through the gallery into the
studio space beyond.
Youth instruction currently runs in 6 week
blocks through the spring, fall, & winter and 4 week blocks in the summer.
Classes meet on Saturdays or Tuesday evenings. Adult studio groups follow the
same 6 and 4 week schedules as the youth classes. Students may take sessions
continuously or chose specific sessions with topics most appealing to them.
Other services include private lessons by
the hour for youth and adults, adult mentoring sessions, mixed media workshops,
and workshops by guest instructors. Current schedules are below and detailed
class descriptions and examples of artwork can be found on our "Student Page".
