Artist Information

David MacSmith
David's work ranges from realistic oil landscapes to expressionistic abstract works. He is best know in the Texas hill country and is currently on display now in our main gallery space.

Sonja Raven
Sonja's rich encaustic works are characterized by their wide range of color, diverse texture, and fun multi-panel arrangements. A self-trained artist from Nebraska, Sonja sculpts her beeswax surfaces with heat and various tools to achieve the subtly layered textures.

Alice Queen Waterman
Alice's whimsical textile and mixed media works define her offbeat style. Fabric, paint, beading, collage and stitching are only a few of the devices Alice instates to create her diverse and free-wheeling portfolio of work. Don't forget Alice's great wearable art pieces too!

Barry Benton
Barry's acrylic landscapes are unique in composition and format. His long low format and use of acrylic on panel give a modern twist to classic landscape scenes from Colorado and Texas.

Giselle Borrás
Giselle Borras  is a Colombian born artist who has lived and worked in Colombia, Spain and the U.S. Her work is bold, textured and vibrant as it depicts abstractions of the human form.

Rachel Jones
Contemporary artist Rachel Jones presents a small body of intimate pieces completed during her stay in the Texoma area while displaced from her New Orleans studio by hurricane Katrina. The "Rivers, Paths, and Plans" series was created in hotel rooms, cars, in a temporary local studio.

Mike Waterman
Mike's hand-made slumped wine bottle dishes are a unique artistic gift for any wine or art lover. See a selection of his embellished bottles with copper, fused glass, and more beautiful artistic touches year-round in our gallery.

Tracy Underwood
Artplace is happy to represent Tracy Underwood's original hand-made art cards. Visit the gallery to  see the wide variety of "button" cards, gift tags, and other creative selections.

Linda Fryer
Linda's hand-beaded crosses express her unique experience dealing with the loss of her young son. Each piece is crafted by hand with wire, glass and metal findings. A true expression of "Sean's Faith".
